Barbecued Meatball and Chorizo Skewers
Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 tbsp chopped oregano
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 chorizo sausages, sliced into 1cm-thick slices
- Olive oil spray

Combine the beef, onion, garlic, paprika, oregano and egg in a medium bowl. Roll mixture into 32 balls with 3 teaspoons of mixture in each. Alternately thread 2 meatballs and 2 slices of chorizo on each skewer. Press meatballs down slightly to flatten.

Heat a barbecue or char-grill plate to medium-high heat. Spray skewers with oil. Cook on barbecue for 4 minutes each side or until browned and cooked through.
