Baked Brie





Ingredients
- 250 – 500g / 8 – 16 oz round brie or camembert (good value is fine! Note 1)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 thyme sprig (optional)
For Serving
- Crostini or other sturdy crackers
- 1 bunch purple grapes (or green, optional)

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.

Unwrap the brie and place it in a small, shallow oven‑proof dish slightly larger than the brie, or on a piece of crumpled parchment/baking paper for easier transfer.

Oven: Bake for 15–20 minutes for a 250 g brie (or until melted). For a 500 g brie increase to about 25 minutes.

Microwave option: Heat on high for 2 minutes, checking in 30‑second increments until the centre is soft.

Carefully transfer the melted brie to a serving plate or board.

Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and top with a thyme sprig, if using.

Serve immediately with crostini or crackers and grapes; provide a knife for cutting the rind and a cheese/pâté knife for scooping the melted cheese.
