Ingredients
Brownie Batter
- 3/4 cup silken soft tofu
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan.

In a large bowl, blend the tofu, water, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
