How To Make Crepes
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 eggs

Sift the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, vanilla) together in a bowl.

In another bowl, whisk the wet ingredients (milk and eggs) until the eggs are thoroughly beaten.

Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until all lumps are gone.

Stir in the melted butter.

Heat a skillet on medium heat. Melt a little butter, add olive oil, or spray the pan with oil.

Using a 1/4‑cup measuring cup, scoop batter and pour into the hot skillet, spreading to cover the surface.

Cook for about 30–60 seconds until the edges set and the bottom is lightly golden; flip if desired and cook the other side briefly.

Slide a spatula under the crepe, remove it, and place it on a piece of wax paper. Cover with another piece of wax paper and repeat with the remaining batter.
