Brown Sugar Glazed Pork with Warm Potato Salad
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (75g) brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (125ml) olive oil
- 8 (1kg) Coles Australian pork sirloin steaks
- 2 x 400g Coles Australian baby potatoes with butter and parsley
- 3 middle bacon rashers, coarsely chopped
- 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup (60ml) ranch dressing
- Steamed green beans, to serve

Combine sugar 1/3 cup (75g) brown sugar, chilli 1/4 tsp chilli flakes, smoked paprika 2 tsp smoked paprika, cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and oil 1/2 cup (125ml) olive oil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Place pork 8 (1kg) pork sirloin steaks in a large glass or ceramic dish. Pour over the marinade and toss to coat. Set aside for 10 mins.

Meanwhile, cook potatoes 2 x 400g baby potatoes with butter and parsley as per packet instructions. Cool for 10 mins. Halve potatoes.

Meanwhile, Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook bacon 3 middle bacon rashers, coarsely chopped for 5 mins or until browned and crisp. Add onion 3 spring onions, thinly sliced and cook for 1-2 mins. Remove from heat. Place potatoes in a large bowl. Add bacon mixture and Ranch dressing 1/4 cup (60ml) ranch dressing. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.

Heat a barbecue or chargrill over medium heat. Cook steaks in batches for 3 mins each side or until cooked to your liking. Serve steaks with potato salad and steamed green beans Steamed green beans, to serve.
