BBQ Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. bone-in pork chops (room temperature (4 chops))
- 3 tsp BBQ seasoning rub
- ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
- chopped fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your grill to medium heat and grease it well with your oil of choice. If you are using a stovetop grill, preheat your oven to 350°F as well.
- 2
Rub the pork chops all over with the BBQ seasoning rub.
- 3
Cook
- 4
Place the pork chops on the hot grill and cook for 2-4 minutes per side until you get nice sear marks. They should not be cooked through yet.
4 min - 5
Brush BBQ sauce all over the seared pork chops and either return them to the grill outside or place them in a medium-large baking dish.
- 6
Cook
- 7
If on an outdoor grill, reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking for 3-5 minutes per side or until the middle reaches 145°F. If you’ve placed them in a baking dish, bake them for 10-15 minutes or until they just reach 145°F internally.
5 min - 8
Rest
- 9
Remove the chops from the heat and allow them to rest, covered, for at least 5 minutes before serving, garnished with fresh, chopped herbs, optional.
