Banana Nut Bread
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, well beaten
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped

Gather the ingredients.

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, butter, and beaten eggs. Whisk to blend thoroughly.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

Stir the dry ingredients into the first mixture until blended. Add the chopped nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the center rack of the preheated oven for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
