The 3-Ingredient Dessert I've Been Making Since Childhood (It's Still My Favorite)
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons creamy or crunchy no-stir salted peanut butter
- Flaky salt, for topping, optional
Instructions
- 1
Line a plate and get out spoons. Line a small plate with parchment paper or foil and get out 4 small metal spoons.
- 2
Melt the chocolate: Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a small microwave‑safe bowl. Microwave in 30‑second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted.
- 3
Scoop the peanut butter: Use one of the spoons to scoop out about a tablespoon of peanut butter and place the spoon on the lined plate. Repeat with the other three spoons.
- 4
Drizzle the chocolate, and freeze: Drizzle the melted chocolate onto each spoon to fully cover the peanut butter. If desired, top with a sprinkle of flaky salt. Freeze to harden the chocolate, about 10 minutes.
10 min - 5
Serve: Enjoy right away or store the spoons in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
