- 1 1/2 cups cooked pumpkin or squash puree, or 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
- 1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk, or half-and-half

In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses.
