Pork, Apple & Prosciutto Parcels
Ingredients
- 8 slices prosciutto
- 600g (8) pork sirloin steaks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 16 sage leaves
- 1 granny smith apple, cored, thinly sliced
- Salad, to serve
- Bread rolls, to serve
Instructions
3 steps
- 1
Lay prosciutto on a clean surface. Top each slice with a pork steak, 2 sage leaves and 2 apple slices. Season well. Wrap prosciutto over to enclose filling.
- 2
Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium. Cook pork parcels for 1-2 mins each side, until golden. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 3-5 mins, or until cooked through.
- 3
Transfer pork to serving plates. Increase heat to high. Add balsamic and 1/4 cup of water and simmer for 1-2 mins, scraping cooked-on pieces from pan, until sauce has thickened slightly. Spoon sauce over pork and serve with salad and bread rolls.
