Individual hazelnut and chocolate clafoutis
Ingredients
For the clafoutis
- 115g self-raising flour
- 115g ground almonds
- 60g golden caster sugar
- 2 large free-range eggs
- 3 large free-range egg yolks
- finely grated zest of 2 oranges, plus the juice of 1
- 180ml full-cream milk
- 1 vanilla pod, split lengthways
- 50g good-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids), bashed up

Preheat the oven to 200°C/400ºF/gas 6.

Lightly grease 6 individual ovenproof dishes.

Bash up the chocolate.

In a jug, whisk the flour, ground almonds, sugar, eggs, yolks, orange zest and juice, milk and vanilla pod together until smooth.

Stir in the chocolate.

Pour into the dishes.

Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
