Dark Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 200g dark chocolate (85% cocoa)
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup flour, sifted
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt

Preheat the oven to 150C. Grease and line a 20 x 20 cm square cake tin.

Melt the butter with the chocolate in a small saucepan. Remove from heat, then add the sugar and mix to combine.

Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt. Stir in the chocolate mixture. Ensure that the ingredients are mixed well, but don't overmix.

Pour into prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes.
