Air-fryer Prawn Toast Recipe | Marion's Kitchen
Ingredients
Prawn Toast
- 350g (12 oz) peeled and deveined prawns
- 150g (5 oz) diced firm white fish e.g. barramundi, snapper, tilapia, sea bass
- 8 makrut lime leaves, destemmed, finely sliced
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (cilantro) stems
- 1 egg white
- 2 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp white sugar
- 5 slices thick white bread
- white and black sesame seeds, for sprinkling
- cooking oil spray
- sweet chilli sauce, to serve
Instructions

Place the prawns, fish, makrut lime leaves, coriander, egg white, salt and sugar in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until a smooth paste forms.

Spread the mixture generously onto each slice of bread so that there is an even, 1cm-thick (about ⅜") spread of paste.

Place the sesame seeds onto a plate and lightly press the paste side of the bread into the seeds.

Cut each piece into half.

Working in batches, place prawn toasts into the air fryer basket.

Spray generously with cooking oil and cook for 10 minutes at 200°C/390°F or until golden and crispy.
