- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (2 to 2 1/2 pounds)

In a small bowl, stir together the seasoning blend or spice rub.

Rub the mixture all over the chicken.

Place the chicken thighs skin-side up in a large (6 to 7-quart) slow cooker in a single layer. Do not overcrowd or stack.

Cover and cook on low, without lifting the lid, until the internal temperature of the chicken is at least 170ºF and the skin is golden brown and crispy, 4 to 5 hours.

Serve the chicken drizzled with the juices that have accumulated in the bottom of the slow cooker.
