Marry Me Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (⅛ stick)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (rinsed if packed in oil)
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Pat the chicken dry and season it on both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Heat the oil and butter in an oven-safe skillet set over medium-high heat. Once the butter is melted, add the chicken to the pan. Sear until both sides are golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
