Lee Ann's Caramelised Ragu with Hidden Veg
Ingredients

- 15g dried porcini mushrooms (optional)
- 3 carrots, roughly chopped
- 4 celery stalks, roughly chopped
- 1 leek, trimmed, washed, roughly chopped
- 2 zucchini, roughly chopped
- 2 x 400g cans whole peeled tomatoes
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 500g beef mince
- 500g pork mince
- 150g middle bacon rashers, trimmed, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves, chopped (see note)
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves (see note)
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups beef stock
To Serve
- 750g spaghetti
- Shaved parmesan, to serve
