Crunchy Granola
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (80g) firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 3/4 cups (330g) rolled oats
- 3 cups (225g) wheat flakes
- 2 tbsp toasted pumpkin seeds*
- 2 tbsp linseed*
- 5 tbsp (100ml) sunflower oil
- 1 cup sultanas
- 1/4 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup dried banana
- 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp roasted cashews
- 1/4 cup slivered roasted almonds
To serve
- Thick yoghurt
To serve
- Honey

- Fresh fruit

Preheat the oven to 170°C.

Combine the sugar honey, oats, wheat, pumpkin seeds and linseed with oil, spread onto a large baking tray and toast, stirring every 10 minutes to prevent catching, for 30-40 minutes or until golden. Remove and allow to cool.

Toss with remaining ingredients and store in an airtight jar for up to 2 weeks. Serve with yoghurt, honey and fresh fruit, and milk if desired.
